@ Bulwark
Sounds awesome.
Here's a couple quotes that I tend to quote a LOT.
"I'm sensing a cucumber moment."
"I'll pass the salt."
They were both said by Rat from Pearls Before Swine. If you know what Rat is like, then you know what these mean.

@ Bulwark
Rat is not exactly a nice guy... for the first one, he hits people with a cucumber if they use a certain term, and for the other one, he says that so many people do great, heroic deeds in life, and when asked what he does, he says 'I pass the salt'.

Was watching Stargate just now and Teal'c just said something that really stuck out to me as real words of wisdom, especially in today's world where everyone and their grandmother's an activist for something, trying to force their beliefs in people's faces.
"To resist the influence of others, knowledge of one's self is most important." Teal'c, Stargate SG-1: Episode 187 (Stronghold)

For some reason the phrase, "under the sun" comes up in our life a lot. It always reminds me of the bible. -Alaap

I was taking a break from my artsing and did a random internet search for quotes and I found a fantastic one. "Video games don't affect kids. If pacman had affected us as kids we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive music." ~Nintendo CEO (not sure of exactly which one, that was all the quote credited. )

@seric: I wouldn't really know. I'm not familiar with the top brass of Nintendo. =/
I found another though that made me lol pretty hard.
"Why do people say 'grow some balls'? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough grow a vagina! Those things take a pounding!" ~Betty White

Too true. Not sure if I should censor that or not...

@seric: I wasn't sure either. I left it because it's not derogatory, or slang or anything like that. Those are legitimate names for reproductive organs which (I hope) people should have learned about by now. Though I'll admit being an artist who's done a fair amount of life drawings I'm quite desensitized to things regarding raw human anatomy and what comes with it be it in speech or otherwise. So I'm not a very good judge of what's apropriate and what's not in the way of that. To me, if it's not really erotic, then there's no problem. Body parts are pretty natural. But if you think I should do some censoring I won't object. A lot of people don't have the same view on reproductive organs that I do.

Good point. I think unless the words are specifically for insults, it's fine.
To keep this thread on topic...
"Last night, I was laying in my bed, staring up at the beautiful night sky, with all it's brilliant stars and a crescent moon. And I thought to myself: Where did my ceiling go?"

"I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts. Like my ribs, my kidneys, my liver, my heart. Like my blood. It was a force already within me when I arrived on the scene. It was a necessity for me-like food or water." by Ray Charles
