Hello from a convert!

Hey, I go by Aumoe on a lot of forums lately. I'm a coyote therian, fae, and identify as "cicada hearted". I consider being a coyote psychological. I'm not sure what to make of being fae and cicada hearted.

I am 22 years old, female, and from Illinois. I love 80's music of all kinds, and am a big Cyndi Lauper fan. I've met her twice, we're in touch. and I plan on meeting her again in late October.

As for the convert part, I was born and raised Humanistic/Reform Jew. While I am fine with my heritage, I do not consider myself "Jewish" anymore, other than genetically. When I was little, I found myself connected to Jesus, even the Virgin Mary! When I was 18, I began to convert to Christianity, but stopped for a while around 19, to try out various Pagan religions. I always came back to being Christian.

I may not be a "typical" Christian. I was not raised it, I do not agree with all of a lot of Christian's stances (such as on LGBT, evolution, and such), but I do follow Jesus. I believe he was the son of God, and died for our sins. I also am of primarily Jewish descent, which technically qualifies me as one of God's "chosen" people. I am Christian, just a weird/atypical one.

I'd like to be sorted as "Christian Mixed-Kin", and if there's space, "Coyote/Fae".


Also, as a requirement, I'm "blue" da ba de da ba di! Also since there seems to be another word, Papaya Whip...whatever that is...

How did you discover fae if you don't mind my asking. I've never heard you mention that theriotype before.

Also, you have the wrong requirement word. I know I got confused too when Seric added "blue" to her post. So you'll have to go back and read it to find the right one.

Really? I've mentioned it to Bloodmuffins before, maybe I forgot to tell you...

I've known this since summer, but knew that I wasn't entirely just earthly animal for a long time. I knew I wasn't "human" when I was little. Long story short, I went through a time of a lot of confusion (sometimes I still feel I am confused), and asked myself what I am, summed up. The instant phrase that best describes me was "nature spirit". However, I continued to ignore the obvious until one day I finally took down my "shield", and somehow, I was able to sense what I was. I got an immediate sense of, "Fae". I'm not quite sure how I was able to sense myself, but the feeling was unmistakable. Interestingly, I also have gold, feathery phantom wings, but I don't know what to make of those as of yet...

Nope. I was unaware.
Hmm, that's certainly interesting though. Based on a lot of old fae lore it's not out of the question for leathery wings to be present instead of the usual dragonfly wings most fantasy portrays.
Though it's possible, like mine, your wings are one of those random appendages that are there but for no explainable reason. ^^;

By the way, have you found the required word in the rules? ^^

Feathery wings, not leathery. Also, yes. Look through my introduction again. It's hidden.

EDIT: Seems blue wasn't the only word...I put in the other phrase.

Sorry about that. You're good now, and we're all sorted out. :3

Feathery though would be unusual for a Fae. For some reason feathered wings just isn't something that's normal for them.
