Want to ask anything about Otherkin or Therianthropes? I seriously doubt we will have the correct answers (since it's such a strange topic) but we will do our best to answer!
I have a question: do you feel you've had to learn how to be a human? Like it's forced?
I feel that way. I don't think I've ever felt like a true human... I've always had a hard time relating to humans also, I have a much easier time relating to animals and plants.

I've never felt totally human either, I've always related better to the animals in my life. Maybe that's why I get along with the horses at the farm where I ride so well.

I just don't pretend to be anything, I'm just me. There are times where I have to be a little careful with my actions..but other than that I act normal. -Rail

I didn't/don't necessarily have to learn how to be human, I think, since that's how I was born and how I was raised, but I do have to pay attention to myself to make sure the human behaviours don't slip away into obscurity. For me being human is like learning a language. I've been taught, and I know it, but if I don't keep in practice I'll slip back into what feels more natural (the animal behaviour).
