I humbly request a lyrics review thread, so here it is, me being a metal vocalist I also write alot of lyrics, some of them may be a bit... harsh languaged, but I will give a fair warning before posting on with such content.

here is one of my personal favorites:

I love Disturbed too, I actually got to talk to them once. Over the phone, I had a friend in the Air Force who was being back stage security for them.

@seric: well, its a rare occasion having them drop by sorry little Denmark, buut that had Halestorm and Papa Roach with them, so it was all good ^^

This was one of the very first lyrics I ever wrote, so I was like... what... 13-14 when I conjured this little thing, enjoy!

In these troubled times
when I feel the darkness grab me

hoping to repel the evil who wants me

Because when I stray too far, I feel the loneliness
and when I walk to far, I feel the emptyness
I wander around aimlessly, in my own world
a world filled with terror and dread
with no place to hide

I see the people around me
and I hear their voices loudly
but even in the most crowded places
the damned, scream out for me

I don't need forgiveness
I don't need help
I don't need anyone around me
in my world of the dead

I can pray to my god
I can blame so many others
but in the end I realise
it is I who messed it up

I do need a goal in life
I do need the friends of mine
I do need something to care for
