Kin Types

Tell us about your kin type! What kind are you?

I believe I have the soul of some kind of dragon. I'm exactly sure how to describe it, but I don't think it's made of flesh. Other than that, it looks rather like a western dragon, but without scales. It can breathe fire. I figured that out from dream shifts.

I do have other types:
wyvern
wyrm
white bengal tiger
winged anthro wolf (has another form of a wolf)
sea serpent (which seems to be made of metal)
crow (has another form of a bat)
vampire (has another form of a gargoyle looking thing, not like the ones from Van Helsing at all, by the way)
werewolf
saber-toothed cat (has other forms of most types of bear)
fork-tailed swallow
house cat
pegasus
gryphon
winged anthro baku
mystical barn owl

I think that's it. My forms have forms... wow. XD

I know it might sound like blend-a-kin, but dragon is far and away the one I feel most, and the one I feel that I am. I'm not sure if the type of dragon I relate to is a shapeshifter, that could explain this.

For the more uncommon one here; a baku is a creature from Japanese mythology that has the eyes of a boar, the trunk and tusks of an elephant, the legs of a tiger, the talons of a hawk, the body of a bear, and the tail of an ox. It is a good spirit, and it eats evil spirits and nightmares.

They are very creepy looking. Especially when they are anthro. This particular one has an odd mane, that seems to be made up of thick, black needles. It also has the wings of an owl. I don't know what kind.

I saw mystical owl because it has strange symbols glowing on it's wings; the rest of it is black. It can be pretty creepy looking, also.

I would add on how I came to recognize all of these forms but... that would take a lot of space. Unless someone wants to know one specifically, or if you want me to post them all, I will.

@seric: Wow, you have quite the collaboration of forms inside you. I don't think I'd be able to handle so many things being me at the same time. ^^;

My theriotypes are pretty simple.

Uncia
Canis Lupus (all subspecies, not just grey wolf)

I identified uncia first and it is by far the strongest of the two. It's probably a good 70/30 in favor of uncia.

For simplicity (and because explaining it feels redundant after my intro post) I just linked a reference image I did for my uncia theriotype based on various shifts I've had and what I observed during them. ^^

You have a deviantart account? Sweet. I wouldn't say 'inside me', I think the soul is more 'connected' to the body than inside.

How did you come up with the term Uncia?

@seric: I do have a DA. It's not my first account but I'm okay with that cause then I don't have to clean out all of my scarily bad junior high art. XD

You're right though, connected is a much better way of putting it. I hesitated for quite a while when I wrote that first sentence because I was trying to think of a better word to use but I completely drew a blank.

Uncia is actually the genus and species name for the snow leopard (Panthera Uncia), so since I didn't quite fit as a snow leopard but was so incredibly close anatomically I decided to just use the genus name. :3

I am a Tundra Wolf/Grizzly Bear, where the Wolf is the mental me and the bear is the physical me, not just because I am quite big build and such but also because of my posture and the way I move

I'm a celestial wolf and a blue shark.
I'm always shifted celestial wolf wise, but I will get gills or fins added on to my wolfness at times.

I have a picture somewhere...if I can upload it i'll show it to you. But I can describe it for you.
My theriotype has black fur and there are some interesting symbols on it that almost glow. The glowing is like a silvery glow of sorts.
I have a scar over my left eye, and my eyes are red...probably not from the wolf itself. But to describe that I was an evil-like person in my past before I changed. The wolf has wings, but they're almost dragonic in a sort and they have armor protecting the wings from harm..like battle armor.

@rail: I am totally going to draw your celetial wolf form one of these days, Rail. It just sounds cool to me. I'll have to have you sketch out or describe the markings in detail to me one of these days. ^^;
