Hello everyone. I'm Kai, and some here may recognize me from the Therian Wilderness. ^^;
I am a therian and I have two theriotypes. The first (and my dominant type) being an unidentified big cat. Anatomically it's almost identical to a snow leopard, but it's size and colouring throw this off, but because of this similarity I call this part of me and Uncia for simplicity. My other theriotype is canis lupus cladotherian. Yes I know canis lupus are grey wolves, but this also has a large number of subspecies that fit into it such as other types of wolves, dingos and domestic dogs, and after a lot of self reflection I've come to the conclusion that I associate as virtually all of these (I have an unusual size cap though, in that I don't feel as though I'm any dog smaller than 2 feet high).
I fear my awakening story would only make this monster post even more intimidating so I'll save it for another time, or another thread if the case arises, though I'm not opposed to sharing if anyone really cares that much. ^^
I'm also a Christian again thanks to my husband and a few good friends. I strayed away during my teen years because of the absurd pressure my super Christian mother put on me. So like the pompous teenager I was I rebelled and became agnostic. Two years later I met my now husband and a bunch of his friends who gave me a fresh view on what it means to be Christian, and I'm extremely grateful to them for that.
A few hobbies of mine would probably be a good thing to share. I'm a major rpg nerd. I've been doing forum rps for almost seven years, and I'm majorly into tabletop rp. I've been going to and rpg group every Monday for the past...almost 4 years now, and am currently working with my husband on developing a game of our own which we plan to eventually publish (D&D had better watch it's back ;3). Like a good many of us, I'm sure, I'm a gamer, and my console of choice (for the current gen) would be the PS3, though if I'm able PC is almost always preferred.
I'm also musically inclined. I've been playing various instruments since I was five, and before I moved out enjoyed going to the local symphony with my mother every other week.
So sorry this was incredibly long. If you managed to read it all then you get virtual papaya whip (make me think of miracle whip with papaya).
